Monochrome Watches

We wanted to create something special so we saw an opportunity to bring Indian watchmaking back and make it something people could be proud of. We were inspired by Indian brands like HMT, which played an important role in watchmaking in India. The Renaissance Collection is our way of honouring this history while looking ahead to the future of watchmaking in India.

As we worked, we saw that we could make a place for ourselves in the world of watches. The MACH 1 collection plays an important role in this. It was inspired by the MiG 21 Type 77, and every part of this pilot watch was thought through. From the case design to the movement, the MACH 1 shows both aviation history and modern watchmaking. We were happy when Erik Slave from Monochrome wrote about the MACH 1 collection, talking about the design and how we are connecting India’s aviation history with fine watchmaking.
